hey everyone thanks for the info you give here.

i have a 98 k3500 6.5 170,000 mi i want to check my oil cooler
for clogs. can anyone tell me how to get the lines out of cooler.
are they quik connects? do they just pull out.

DO NOT pull on it. If it comes out by pulling, it will break. Pull back the plastic collar, capture the spring clip, and pull it out (don't take your eye or pliers off of it, or you'll never see it again). NOW the line will pull out. Reinstall the clip into the grooves it came out of (the line will "snap" back in with it in place).

If your oil cooler is clogged, the cooler is the least of your worries.

cant find oil cooler or the lines on the truck. does anyone have picts of
location. i really appreciate any help
