rebalanced drive shaft including new carrier bearing, replaced broken motor mount and that took care of the bad vibrations ...

New problem, *leaking fluid from behind chrome plate that is to the rear of the spin on filter on the allison

Got codes po731, 841, 843, 700 and then po700, 286, 872, 846 on the second try after clearing the 1st codes

slips/hard grab at start but drives fine after, but still leaking, recently replaced spin on filter... took it back off and inspected it and the rubber gasket looks fine

*What is behind the chrome plate, hoping that the problem area and a quick fix?

Pump housing crack or pump housing loose bolts, cracked torque converter, or TC input seal. Either way, the tranny comes out.
