Water leak on a 94 6.5 back of engine. drivers side. Suggestions ?

Could be thermostat housing draining down the valley to the rear. It could also be a freeze plug.

Head gasket
Crossover leaking into valley and draining out through the weep hole and into the flywheel housing.

Thats about it.

Get under and look around with a bright light.

Isn't there a plate that plugs the water port on the intake surface of the head but behind the intake manifold?

Also double check the heater hoses.

The usual suspect is the heater hose(s), especially the couplers.
