Well, it's 5 years and that means it time drain the radiator and pour in new Dexcool. This stuff is not the nasty ethylene glycol that is poison to animals. Can I "water" my trees w/ it?

Dexcool IS "the nasty ethylene glycol that is poison to animals". It is very toxic to your neighbor's dog that never stops barking. Take it to a place that collects it.

Propylene glycol, on the other hand, is not that stuff.

What do you mean it's poison??
I guess I should not have mixed it with the Kool Aid I sent to my mother Inlaw! LOL
I take mine to the recycle sites when they collect it.
Do they acually recycle it like they do oil or do they just dispose of it ?

Auto parts stores in some states and localities take used automotive fluids - some at no cost some with modest cost. Kinda makes sense when you think about it. They sell it, they should help with recycling. ...
