I have a new baby coming and the project car has to go. I am letting go of thousands of hours of work and tens of thousands of dollars in this project but I want to make sure it goes to someone who can finish it and realize the potential. I have everything to get it back together except the time. You absolutely will not find a better equipped 73-87 anywhere! Seriously, you will never find a more awesomely modded suburban. I'll give a quick list of everything I can remember but please email me for more details. The truck is currently in a storage unit in Concord, CA and needs to be removed ASAP. This is a bring your flatbed type of sale. The truck runs great but has no gauges and some leakage on transmisson pan. The parts alone are worth probably 15-20K. This thing is a beast and I've spent way too much on it. I really need 5K for this but I'd be willing to budge a bit if I felt really good about the person.

85 GMC Suburban K2500 Sierra Classic w/ Rear AC
- Newly rebuilt 6.5L w/ banks turbo and custom intake (snorkel conversion in progress)
- Propane Injection w/ 8 gallon tank and remote filling at rear bumper
- Dual Thermostat Conversion w/ High Output Water Pump
- Stay-Cool aux electric fans
- MileMarker 12K Hydraulic Winch
- TH400 with new Heavy Duty Lockup Torque Converter
- Auburn Posi in Rear Diff
- Quick Lock in Front Diff
- PML Sandcast Aluminum Transmission, Front and Rear Diff Covers
- 3.42 gearing for better fuel economy (no problem with power when you're turboed and propane injected)
- BF Goodrich 33x12.50x16.5 Mud Terrains (almost no miles on them)
- Aluminum Turbine Style Wheels (refinished)
- Inline Electric Fuel Pump (feeds to mechanical one)
- High Pop Injectors and High Output Injection Pump
- All new injection lines (rubber and metal)
- Heavy Duty Steering Box (w/ frame brace, no cracks)
- Ellipsoid Real HID Low Beams
- Standard Beam Real HID High Beams
- Surco Safari Rack (w/ spare tire mount)
- Full size Spare Tire
- 2.5" Pro-Comp Lift Kit (springs front, blocks back)
- RS9000 Shocks
- Full Autometer gauge set (Speedo, Tach, Fuel Level, Water Temp, Fuel Press, Trans Temp, Oil Temp, Volts, Boost, Pyrometer)
- It has a fully isolatable secondary electrical system with rear batteries

Except for rear disc brakes there really aren't any 73-87 modifications that aren't on this truck. When I say this is the ultimate project truck, I mean it! The truck is blue w/ silver two tone. Blue interior. I have completely redone the interior with new carpet, seats, dash and door panels. The paint was done about 6 years ago but needs some work. I will get some pictures up soon.

It's been a bit crazy around here and I haven't had much of a chance to get any pictures. If anyone is interested in this project, please let me know. At this point I'm probably willing to give it away as long as I know it won't be parted out.

Sorry everyone, Got bogged down with fatherhood. I also didn't get any of the PMs that people sent. It appears that there was something wrong with the email notification. I have finally gotten around to getting some pictures. Since my last post, the burb has been moved to my house. After almost 3 years of sitting it started right up and was drivable. That being said, I chose to flatbed it the 15 miles home instead of finding out something wasn't quite right. As obsessed as I am, I've spent more money on it since I got home.

- Two brand new Costco Batteries
- T-Rex Billet Grille with custom GMC Emblem
- Full LED Taillights
- Custom annunciator panel from New Vintage USA (pdf attached)

Right now my wife is still figuring out whether we can keep it or not. Obviously I want to keep it but... happy wife, happy life.

As you can see from the pics, there is some work to be done. The most labor intensive is the electrical. I have everything needed to finish, except time. I don't believe there are any parts that need to be purchased, everything needed is either new or refurbished and has been stored waiting for the time when I can get it done.

The safari rack is being sold so would not be included.

I was hoping that some time would materialize so that I could get going on this project again. Unfortunately that hasn't happened. It's time for the truck to go. At this point, I'm not going to be particular about who gets it as long as it gets moved. The first person to come with $5K and a flatbed is getting this. I'm willing to ship but the buyer must cover the cost and arrange it.

For whatever reason I never seem to get alerts of PMs. Please email me if interested. cschneider53-at-yahoo-com
