vented hood

Is there a good replacement hood for my 05 LLY to allow excess heat out of the engine bay. There is lots of air coming in but no way out. Any thoughts?

The air comes out. That's why the underside is not enclosed. Vented hoods look cool, but they interfere with the underhood air pressure (essential for cooling stack efficiency), ground effects and aerodynamics. They don't always vent "out", depending on external aerodynamics, ground speed, and atmospheric conditions.

buy a cowel hood ,works great on my 496 gmc 3500,was really hot,but now its great:):eek:

that is what i was considering but I haven't found one up here in Canada yet.
