I'm trying to get a 83 3/4t 6.2l started that has been setting for two yrs. PO said it was parked due to the broken lower right side contol arm. I'm beginning to think that was towing damage after something else failed.
The mech lift pump has been removed and blocked off. There is evidence of an electric pump install but that has been removed.
I replaced the sec fuel filter (that thing will get relocated!), put in two good batterys and tried to bottle feed the sec filter with clean diesel.
After vacuum priming and loosening injector lines I still do not get any fuel at the injector lines from the pump.
I'm feeding fuel from a jug suspended up above so there is positive pressure to the IP but I'm wondering if it is enough. Or, is the IP dead???
There's 12v at the pump and I can hear the it "click" when connecting/disconnecting.
