how do you tell the difference between 6.2 and 6.5 and 6.5 turbo injector lines? is there a I.D. demension?

The differences are in length and shape. Different injectors, injector angles in the head, and different injection pumps. The wrong lines just don't fit right.

Pre 88 6.2's were different than 88 and up, the 88 up were the same as the 92 and 93 6.5 turbo which were mfi. The 94 6.5 efi were a different design and didn't have the brass female extension where it mounts at the bottom of mfi pump inlet, also the 94 efi lines had larger nuts.
You need to lay them out. I don't understand what your trying to distinguish and for what but maybe this will help, below is a set of 93 6.5 mfi and a 90 6.2 and schematic of 6.5 efi
