Has anyone successfully modified or replaced the oem boost valve in a 4L80E with the unit still in the truck?
If so, how difficult was it? Any special tricks to get the old one out? Did you modify the valve body or update it while in there?
I'm considering doing some updates with either Sonnax or TransGo parts, replacing old solenoids and weighing whether I think it can be a weekend job or not. Thanks for any advice..
