I full time RV and every time I move I am amazed at how well my truck does the job. You forget how powerful these suckers are just driving around town for a few months and then you hook up to a big load and it hardly makes any difference. Yeah getting it moving requires more pedal than unloaded, but once on the road and with the cruise set - it just keeps on moving down the road almost effortless.
Life is good and I'm in Florida for the summer. Yes, I know I'm sort of a reverse snowbird, but I like Florida in the summer and the crowds aren't here.
