in my 82 I have a 92 nv4500 transmission that is a conversion ising a chevy v8 bellhousing and mechanical clutch linkage by my preference as the truck was so originally equipped with last time I checked 82 chevy pickups did not had hydraulic clutches but my problem is that I wanted to purchase a new or reman clutch because mine that I have has nearly 400000 miles on it though it still looks like it could go at least annother 200000 more in my area I just wanted the piece of mind with a new one but the issue is that my truck has an 11 inch clutch and carquest says it calls for a 12 inch clutch I dont see a 12 inch clutch fitting in ths conversion but maybey im overlooking something it has a regular 6.2 flywheel but the cluch is from a 4.3 but the 6.2 truck I took the engine and flyweel form also had only an 11 inch that is why i swapped the 6.2 cluch for the less worn 4.3 clutch when i swapped my 4.3 to a 6.2 diesel:confused:
