Hello,
So my attempt at rebuilding a 4L80E went awry. Put something in wrong and keeps blowing TCC valve out of the oil pump.

Anyway, I have purchased a known good 4L80E. Problem is it came out of a Suburban with a 7.4 gasser and not a diesel. Anyone had one of their tranny's out on a 91-96 6.5 4x4 and looked at the sticker (attched to both sides of converter) code. The one I bought is a 670.

Seems most converter manufacturer's want this code but somehow cannot figure out what you need if you don't have this code. The build date on my new tranny is 3280 (93 280th day)

Possibilities are - 152, 492, 494, 528, 576, 606, 670, 671, 675, or 841. This will go into a 94 K2500 SB EC 6.5, 3.73 gears. Thanks for any help,

Jerry
