Whats the code?
The app is triple redundant with limp modes when you loose redundancy.

Ah, I see.
Try unplugging in and plugging it back in. Sometimes the contacts get "crusty" and this re establishes good contact.
Have you considered ditching the stock PCM all together and going with a stand alone controller for the 4l80e?
Makes things much easier to set up the way you want them.

I believe about 500 bucks will get you a compushift kit.
As far as I know, that's everything you need.
You can program shift points, downshift, upshift, lockup, etc.
It even has a tap shift option iirc.
Leroy sells it through pmd cable and I think he's a dieselpage vendor.
Sounds to me like it would fix a lot of your pita problems in one fell swoop.....

Also check out the DS4 to DB2 conversion guide that Bobbie Martin wrote. That gets you in the game on what TCM you need and using the TPS on the injection pump, etc.
Very well written and the wiring part about swapping the pins on the PCM harness isn't all that bad.
I'm making a standalone DS4 harness to test run engines on the stand, that's been a little harder.
