So, I was looking at picking up a spare FSD as my spare is now on a cooler under the hood.

So, I know when you mount it on the pump, you call it a PMD. But what if you don't mount it on a pump?

Is it a CMD? (cooler mounted driver), or does it stay an FSD?

These are important questions that concern me on a Sunday when I'm waiting for breakfast so I can go fishing.

So far as I know, it is a PMD on the pump, and FSD in any other location.

Good luck fishin...

Hey Tacklewasher, I noticed that you are from B.C. Canada. I bought a new PMD/FSD/CMD or whatever you want to call it on E-bay. The seller was also from B.C. Canada. Anyhow, I am just trying to figure out how long it might take to ship something of that size to Nebraska, USA. It has been about a week now and no item. Just don't wan't to get burned. I'm not so sure about that E-bay stuff.

I doubt it would take more then a couple of weeks. But when customs gets involved, all bets are off. I've brought stuff the other way and have had it show up in days or weeks.

Kinda a crapshoot but I would not be concerned after a week.

Hi Taclewasher,
Do you deal with Gord down at NW Fuel, Surrey, BC for your PMD/FSD's ?

Good guy to deal with.

I just keep an eye on ebay for them. Last one I bought was from Quebec somewhere.

I try to spend under $100 Cdn if I can. Right now I don't really have a spare so I'm keeping my eyes open. I'm running the pump one at the moment but will be plugging in the cooler one when I et the energy to crawl under the hood.

Been spending time on my outboard instead.
