Paypal is a wonderful service.

I have used Paypal since the late 90's, just shortly after getting on ebay.

As Jim mentioned, no fuss no muss and no worries about your financial info getting loose all over the net.

Personally I have a checking account thats tied to my paypal account and thats all I use it for.
If I buy something, I transfer the funds to the "special checking" account and then do my thing online.

Far better IMHO than using a credit /debit card on sites that you do not know.

I have had zero bad experiences with paypal over the last 14 years ( or close anyway)

Had one ebay purchase that the guy did not send the item, Paypal took care of it.
The guy was Military and asked his room mate/girlfriend ??? to ship the package and she forgot or ???

The refund from paypal came within a couple weeks of my complaint.
The item showed up 4 months later, so I sent the guy a cashiers check to make it right.

Paypal is a great thing.

Just some personal experience
