My 6.2 TD conversion into my Wagoneer is a blast to drive, but I am replacing alternator belts about every four weeks:mad:. I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to "shim in" the alternator to prevent this debacle and have finally called it quits. I am interested in purchasing the two alternator brackets used on the standard PS mount 6.2 engine. THe brackets I am using are comprised of the upper bracket that ahs the slot and two holes, one of which mounts to the intake stud, the other to the front of the water pump, and the second which is essentially a tube that stands it off from the block at the bottom and allows it to swivel to tighten the belt. I am also interested in any AC bracketry you may have as I still have to figure out how to mount my Sanden 709 compressor to the DS side of the engine about the power steering pump. I am located in SE North Carolina and willing to travel to some extent to miminize your hassle. Thanks in advance.
