To ensure I am talking about the right solenoid...it the one the green wire goes to.

The mounting bolts or screws fell out while going down the highway.

Does anyone know what size the mounting bolts are? Truck is 25 miles from town.

What does this solenoid do? The truck is not running and I am trying to figure out if this is my only problem. Fuel system had air in it......I have replaced the fuel filter and will bleed the lines (any advive for getting this restarted?)

Thank you everyone...

Are you talking about the fast idle solenoid? That solenoid is not needed for the engine to run. In fact, I removed mine years ago.

The Green Wire runs to the fast-idle solenoid.

I know that it has a metric head but I don't know what the threads are. As Edahall said it is not needed to run. I also have taken mine off. Just unplug the wire and tape it up. Done deal!
