Im at the DMV without the truck and new this to register! Anyone know it?

LD = 7200
HD = 8600

The 8th digit of the VIN indicates the engine class (as well as emissions), and should indicate the GVWR class.

F = HD
S = LD

If your truck is vin f and is 4x4 8 lug, then its 8600GVWR

If your not sure then its as easy as checking the sticker in the door jam on the drivers door.
