L65 or L56...besides EGR is there a difference?

While doing research for pump surgery I looked my RPO numbers and found I have the the L65...supposedly high output engine.

Besides the lack of the EGR valve is there any real difference?

Did I win something!

As usual is this an extra cross to bear?

PCM fuel\timing curves and pre-cups differ - all else same.
