I parked 1 night got up next morning and it will not crank. It will turn overbut not hit. I have pumped the primer but will not start. Their is fuel in the filter and half tank in truck.Any suggestions before I attempt to try to take it to shop so they charge me an arm and leg for a small problem. Thanks for any help

My buddy had a similar situation. He had to replace both batteries. Enough juice to spin it but not enough going the computer to tell it to fire. Problem resolved.

I cant say its not but both batteries are just barely over 1 yr old.I will put a charger on them and then try to crank with a 200 amp boost while trying to crank.

Personal peeve: Crank and turn over are terms describing the same thing. Your engine cranks but will not "fire" which is likely fuel pressure related. If it's not a loss of prime/air lock then the next likely culprit is injectors. Excessive return rates allow too much fuel to bypass preventing the build up of adequate pressure.

When your cranking what color is the smoke? And if your not getting any smoke your probably not getting fuel

I took it to a dealer and they said it was a fuel pressure module or something like that. About $1600.00 dollars so far.
