My truck seems to have a 2 stroke powerband?

When 3/4 to full throttle sometimes by truck seems to all the sudden make more power, kinda like a 2 stroke powerband. It doesn't do this 100% of the time, I get no SES codes. New Bill Heath FSD Isolator (did the same thing before the new FSD)

I have gauges on the way, so right now I can't tell you if the boost is consistant.

Is there any smoke out the tailpipe that you can see? If you boost is not there you will see smoke. Gauges will let you see what's really going on. smile.gif

Just a thought, but before I replaced my truly worn out cam chain, the torque and power would only arrive above 3000rpm just like a 2 stroke. I installed dual idler gears (a new cam chain would have done the same though) and now I have smooth pull through the rev range.
