DB2-4911 IP Head/Rotor Question Need thoughts!

Hi I was just wondering im getting my DB2-4911 IP replaced and plan on getting a reman DB2 unit I was told to get the updated head and rotor assembly because it corrects the hot start problem(which im having). The place where I'm getting the IP says the reman he is selling me has the rotor reground and the head re-sleeved to fix the hot start problem does this sound correct? i would appreciate thoughts on this thanks,

We do NOT reuse the head/rotor of old style. Best to start fresh...

This brings up a question - how can you tell if the pump has the updated parts installed? My engine has a supposedly rebuilt 4911 and I'd like to be able to tell if 1) it has been reconditioned, and B) if it has the updated parts.
