Gentlemen, (ladies?)
I hope everyone doesn't mind another intruder to this "elite" club. I was a member many yrs ago, when the net was new, but unfortunately lost track.
This was my inspiration for joining back then. (Photo below)
Well, I haven't learned alot about computers since then. (I tried to continue this post after the photo, but doesn't seem possible, due to the pic is now taking up my entire response bubble).
Anyway, this 83 cab and chassis became my work horse about 20 yrs ago, and if anyone is evenly remotely interested, I'll show some pix in a more appropriate thread. This is an old photo, and I'm hoping for some repeated inspiration to get the old mule back on the trail.
I remember the information this site provided was invaluable to me, and can't wait to hear about everyones experiences, and see what's new in the diesel world.

Welcome back! Of course, most of us are interested in the 6.2 and the 1980s trucks. Most of those who help here started their GM diesel journey with the 6.2. Lots of expertise and first-hand personal experience with the 6.2 remain available right here.

Sure, post more photos. We like em....

Howdy Jim and Dave.
Glad to be back. Can't wait to get in the groove. Lots of cool lookin stuff here. I guess I should start a thread in the photo album(?), of my truck. What it was, and has become. Still trying to navigate around here correctly, so please be patient, as I relearn the ropes. Hope to view your projects or rides soon. Out for now. Joe
