I was at the lumberyard yesterday and after loading the truck noticed a fluid leak about 4 inches in diameter on the concrete after I had been sitting there (engine off) for 20 minutes. It looked to be near the rear of the engine.

I drove home since we are not far away, unloaded the lumber, and pulled into the garage and tossed my waste oil pan under the leak. It seemed to be accumulating in the area near the small weep hole at the bottom of the torque converter housing, BUT the leak itself almost seems to be coming above the rear of the engine oil pan. It was dripping from three or four places and eventually stopped after maybe 4 ounces had come out (after pressure had dropped?).

I checked my regular parking spot and not a drop.

I have 200K on the truck, no problems like this before. I reviewed TSB 03-07-30-057 after looking at the forums. Other ideas?

Type or color of fluid? Fuel, engine oil, trans fluid or coolant?

Pinkish, clearly not engine oil, and not the viscosity or color of my coolant.

Sounds like the front pump seal

If you discover loose torque converter bolts, you'll need to examine the TC to see if one of the weld-on lugs have flexed/cracked the TC housing.
