LBZ quit and wont start

I have a 2007 LBZ, my son started it, it ran about 15 sec then shut off. It turns over fast like it has no compression but no start. I have had no drivability/start issues at all.

No fuel in the tank? Gasoline?

Can you prime the fuel filter?

I changed the filter, it wasn't due yet but I figured it wouldn't hurt and it started. I have never seen an engine just shut off like turning a key with a filter issue. Usually lose power, run rough, etc but it shut off like someone turned the key. I panicked and shot off this post before I changed the filter. When it turned off like that I saw HUGE $'s.:o

Sounds like it simply lost prime at the filter head. In the process of changing your filter, you primed it again, and it started.

If it does it again, pump the priming button to see if it's hard to push (primed).

I was at a buddy's house a few years back, and his neighbor had this happen. Backed the truck out into the street, and then stalled and wouldn't start. Simply priming it got it running again.
