Hi,
My old class A Motorhome has a fuel leak from a Fuel Pressure Regulator in the line between the tank and the lift pump.
As I understand the regulator was necessary when the veichle was equipped with a 454 gasser, but can I remove it now when I have a 6.2 installed?

The regulator is a throwback from the early in-tank pumps, exclusive to gassers. Get rid of it. It's no more than a parasite for your use.

The fuel tank pickup should just have a sock. There should not be a pump or other device inside the tank that might restrict fuel flow. Jim
