VIN Check help please.

Hi,

I bought a 2006 3/4 2500 LS w/duramax 2 days ago and am trying to decode the options that are on the truck. I figured out the ext cab, long bed. LLY, Allison trans, but all the other stuff???

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that the VIN could be translated to give me what options were installed and what the truck's history is (I've seen this in other "VIN help" posts).

What you need is the RPO decoder. All those 3 digit codes on the sticker on the glovebox door will tell you everything on your truck. Decode it here:

A GM dealer will be able to tell you the history of your truck (what the dealer knows of it anyway) using the VIN.

Looking at buying a 2014 Duramax with the LML. Would anyone be willing to help with doing a vin check to see what warranty/ mechanical work has been done? Truck has 97000 miles. 1GC1KVC8XEF126027
