Looking for something a step above a prodigy. Any thoughts?

I've never heard of it until now.

I'm a big fan of the Prodigy. Actually, I'm a big fan of the Primus IQ, which is the Prodigy electronics packaged in a lesser expensive housing. When Tekonsha discontinued the Prodigy and replaced it the Prodigy P2, they took the original Prodigy electronics and stuck them in the Primus IQ housing. It's an excellent value.

I got to see a DirecLink Controller at a trade show last month. Pretty neat unit, but I wasn't impressed with the fit and finish. Looked like something an individual might have made in his garage. Didn't look like something a large manufacturer would have been able to neatly design.

I can't speak to the quality or function, however.

I recently replaced my computer with a Kennedy re-programed computer replacement.

Can't comment on other programmers except my former BullDog unit.

The extra horsepower is great and the increased mileage is very pleasing.

Another option worth exploring. Can't find an easier company to deal with.

I think we are talking about 2 different things.....the Direct link is a trailer brake controller
