Cruize control

My son has a 2000 3500 .
It did not come with cruise!!!
Can i just change his turn arm to an arm with cruise???

It should work. I've done it on a couple models, 95, 98, 2002, all Diesel. None of them required anything other than just the signal stalk. The '95 can be quirky at times when the cruise is on, but may not be caused by the cruise itself. The most you'll have to do is have the dealer (or anyone with a Tech II) flash the ECM to activate the cruise.
