93 6.5 Tranny questions

I have a 82 Chevy with a 93 6.5td in it. It has a turbo 400 tranny in it now and I don't like that 3 speed idea what other tranny can I use with out to much trouble?

My '93 has the OEM NV4500 5-speed in it.

You can also use the 93 4L80-E,Auto overdrive trans with lockup converter.

The trans will have it's own shift computer or any other 4L80E and an aftermarket shift computer.

or you can search youtube for 4L80E and watch a video of a guy who only uses toggle switches to shift-no idea of longevity of the trans that way?
