Help
I have a 2003 2500 with an Edge programmer. Normally the desired FRP fluctuates between 5kpsi to around 23kpsi at WOT. Truck has just started loss of power under acceleration and desired FRP does not go above 10.1kpsi. It starts great and runs out fine at speed. Is there a TPS that controls the requested/desired FRP?

The desired pressure should do it's thing as usual, it's the actual pressure that would typically fall off. I guess first thing I would look at is DTC's as it sounds like it's running in some sort of limp or engine protect mode that is limiting fueling.

Now if your scan device has them misidentified that's another story.

Changing the fuel filter is a good first step for any rail pressure problem.

The fuel filter was changed last week. The next day the truck acted normal. Rail pressure was back to 23kpsi again, all I can figure is a lose wire.
Was wondering if there is a TPS that controls the desired pressure. It is back to running great

Not DTC codes by the way
Thanks

Fuel filter changed before the issue or after the issue?

What brand filter was used.
