My service engine just started to light up when going 68 mph. I let up on gas and it turns off.. i replaced water pump in march.. any ideas of what I should look for

Pull the codes and see what is showing.

This will give you a good starting point.

What year of truck ???

94-95 RIGS, the codes can be pulled easily with a paper clip in the ALDL plug under the lip of the dash.

96 and later requires a scanner

94 6.5 ltr. 280k figured out that noise is coming from pump...code 78 .need smog pump thanks.. where can I find air(SMOG) pump..
