Vacuum at cruise control

Hi, I'm cleaning up my vacuum lines and was wondering if there is any issue with disconnecting the vacuum line to the cruise control. It's never worked while I've owned it and the electrics are already disconnected. Any purpose for the vacuum there outside of cruise or is it safe to disconnect and only have the A/C controls come off the pump?

It's perfectly fine to disconnect the cruise vacuum source. Just make sure the line is plugged or capped on the vacuum side.
