Warranty Denial - Inadequate Service
What do you do when no one will help you?

The answer to that question is "of course, you come to The Diesel Page. We've been helping GM truck owners solve problems since 1996." This editorial first appeared here way back in 1997, but we know it's important enough to run again. Though the GM trucks mentioned here are from a previous generation - not the Duramax, the information remains valid and of tremendous value to those who need it. Knowing what to do could be a real life saver if your truck's warranty has been denied or if a service department simply can't fix your truck. It's human nature to want to begin an internet crusade to punish someone and to enlist other truck owners in that effort. As a first step, that strategy is exactly 100% wrong if you're interested in solving problems. What appears here was written by one of our members who owned a GM dealership for over 8 years and later served as a state arbitrator, reconciling consumer complaints with the automobile manufacturers. Read this before doing something that will create a barrier between you and those who can help. Now available to subscribers in Member's Area (http://www.thedieselpage.com/password.htm).
