Engine Oil Dipstick

Hello,

Newbie asks maybe "stupid" question but will a HMMWV engine oil dipstick be same as "normal" truck 6.2 diesel dipstick? Mine has broken and I'm not sure if it is as long as it should be. I've been hunting such dipstick from eBay but haven't got any luck so far. HMMWV dipsticks are available easier. Even p/n would help to find it if HMMWV stick won't fit.

What year 6.2? There are quite a few different tubes. Can't answer the Hummer one though.

Engine is 1990 model J-code, US-specs w/o EGR.

GMT400. 1GTGC24J0LE530464, should have given this in the first place... :D

GMT400, that helps. The correct dipstick that fits your pan would come from something GMT400. Actually any 6.5TD dipstick would work as well. Say 1992-1995.
