intake manifold

Does anybody know the ID of the upper intake manifold?? I think I'm going to do a little grinding today. Thanks

I'm not sure about the dimensions....I believe the center has a rib running front to back. You'll find it. smile.gif I ground out all that i could...makes the engine breathe alot better. Keep in mind that if you have an EGR valve you should disable it. The only reason I can see for the thin slots in the upper intake is to create turbulance to mix the exhaust with the incoming intake air.

1 Bad go here about mid way is upturned EGR intake maybe you can see what you need to formulate your plan
