ok guys, this is what my 06 is doing, NO 4wd 3/4 ton crew cab

I can come to a stop from any speed, normally. full stop.

light turns green, let my foot off brake and as the truck starts rolling forward or if i lightly start to accelerate, i hear a klunk coming from the trany / drive train.

I have replaced drive line components and had the rear end checked, they say its as tight as a virgin on prom night.

I think its not downshifting completely into first gear?

anyone ever heard of this ????

Are you a two-foot driver? If so, you may not be completely letting off the accelerator during a stop. The APP input to the PCM/TCM needs to be zero in many cases to command a downshift to 1st during the stop.

Otherwise, it sounds like drive shaft yoke friction, combined with spring-wrap. A light coat of lithium grease in the yoke spline will normally cure this, for a while.
