Ok not a diese guy but i know my way around an engine bay. So long story short i got a 95 1500 with the 6.5td. Motor had a broken crank in two spots so i had to replace it. Got a nice low mileage motor, dropped it in after hassling with it for a few days. Everything is set and im at the point now where i want to bleed the air out of the fuel system. So i pull the feed line to the filter housing and turn the ign on but dont crank it, no fuel comes out. I ohm the relay and all is good. I pull the relays cover and i can jump the pump and it works. But when i cycle the key i get no fuel. I've gone over everything 5 times and its all there and in the right spot. Any ideas? Thanks!

Welcome aboard!

Unique to the '95, (chock the wheels, apply the E-brake) turn the key to RUN (not start), move the tranny selector to any position other than P or N, and turn the key to start (crank). The engine should not crank, but the lift pump should run. Just cycling the key to RUN will not power the lift pump.
