how can I disable my vehicle ?

Ill be off on another road trip this weekend and will be moteling a couple of times. What I'm looking for is a way to make it tougher on potential bad guys, like maybe pulling a fuse or the starter relay,,something like that to discourage the casual thief. I realize that if pros want it,,it'll be gone, I'm just trying to harden the target a bit.

It's an 02 Sierra ccsb 4x4 with d-max.

Pulling the starter fuse would be a fast and cheap way to do it.

A vehicle security system or a reprogrammed ECM (with a no fuel switch-selectable option) would work too, but more expensive and harder to install.
