This is my newly rebuilt 6.5 at idle. The block was bored .020 over and it has new
GM heads on it. Manual IP and injectors are off my 6.2. The 6.2 had an vibration and smoking issue so I tore it down found cracks in the heads but nothing wrong with the pistons. I found the GEP block at the same time and decided to go with that short block. It has an occasional stumble with a knock and white smoke. Disconnected each injector and I think I have found one that could be bad. Injectors are rebuilt with less than 3k miles on them.

Anyone think it is more than a fuel problem?

Your video isn't online. But a knock followed by some white smoke sounds like a fuel knock to me. All diesel injectors are particularly picky about any kind of contaminate, so you may have one sticking now, which usually isn't fixable except with a new nozzle.

I'd pull it and have it checked by a fuel shop.
