My search through the forum leads me to believe that I might be replacing the pump soon. I changed the filter 2 months ago, then the batteries, then recently mounted a JK FSD cooler behind the headlight. It runs good, but the SES comes on with warmer temps and after running a good 30 minutes. I really want my cruise control to work, so I'm not interested in my software has too narrow parameters, unless I can update my software somehow. The problem surfaced at about 125K, and is getting worse. I now have 149K on the original DS4. Any ideas? Who has the best pump, and should I be looking at secondary filtration?

Go to KennedyDiesel.com. He is a member here and drives one of these trucks.

You might consider injector change if they are orig.
I got my new pump thru US Diesel in Colorado; works great. Some report great rebuilds thru Heath. If you are on orig. IP, then good-on-ya!

Two months means nothing on the filter bad fuel can kill it in a day.

1) Remoce the filter
2) Clean out the Filter canastet, paying attention to the screen
3) Put in some type of fuel magic stuff from DSG
4) Install the new filter
5) Check the seal
6) Check the gas cap seal
7) Purge the system

Try it again
