1997 GMC K3500 speedo not working

I have a 1997 K3500 diesel. Trans was not shifting properly. I changed the speed sensor at the transfer case. Now trans is shifting ok. But now thw speedo does not work. It worked inaccuractly prior to changing speed sensor, but now it does not work at all. Does anyone have any suggestions to help solve speedo issue?

Sounds like a bad VSSB Module, Research VSSB Module on google for a company called Unique Diesel, they remanufacture these.

I just ordered a vssb from unique diesel today. John is very helpful. My vssb has water damage and some broken connections. I hope this will fix my shifting issues.

Poor connection issues happen, but if your VSSB has water damage, you may have bigger fish to fry (maybe literally).
