oil in pass through connector

Been hunting an erratic shift problem. Today I found oil in the pass through connector. Ive read this could be the cause of my shift issues. What is the best way to remedy this problem?

Pass through, as in "on the tranny" ????

4L60 OR 4L80 ???

A poor connection can cause troubles for sure.


Replace the tranny side wire harness and plug. (internal)

Clean the chassis harness with electrical spray cleaner and reassemble
