This is my craigslist ad located on East Idaho Craigs...
1985 Chevy 1500 with the 6.2 Diesel. 23k original miles...was owned by a farmer in Driggs Idaho who had bought the truck new in Rigby in 1985. Used the truck soley for light farm work.
Truck runs and drives very solid. Still on the original glow controller. Everything works.
I installed a ton of very expensive new parts including an NV 4500 to replace the SM 465 so that I could have overdrive. Installed a new clutch at the same time. Truck gets 25 mpg and is smooth as butter at cruise speed.

Fluid damper harmonic balancer
Stans headers and full 3" exhaust
Offroad design 4" lift with Tuff Country springs and there shackle flip in the rear. Fully greasable bushings all around and new shocks.
J code manifold with EGR delete.
Nice custom seat covers and husky floor mats.
33 10.50 BFG Muds fully siped and Mickey Thompson 15" Sidebiter wheels
This was intended to be my daily driver but I needed to buy a new diesel becuase my new job requires me to pull a large flat bed trailer regularly.
