Howdy
My son just added to our list of 6.5s...
1993 one ton CCDRW 5spd. Although soon to be a single rear wheel.
Questions:
Is there any reason not to put a GM 8 turbo on this truck?
How did the Boost control operate on these?
Has anyone ever seen a YELLOW engine?
This one is yellow and whoever painted it went through the trouble of putting on the right stickers and other what-nots.

When we looked at the truck, I told it might be something Robyn worked on....Maybe that was a buying point....:D
Not sure why anyone would paint it YELLOW when GREEN is such a nice color....

1993 is a great year! Full mechanical injection pump and boost control. It's essentially got a Turbo Master style setup on these: it just uses a spring to control the wastegate.
