Hi
I would only switch back to dino if i had a bad oil leak i wasn't planning on fixing.Or the motor was burning a ton of oil.
But that's just me

Howdy
I switch back and forth annually. In the winter I run synthetic(amsoil or mobile1) in the summer I run a premium dino(mobile or sheafer). One reason is cost, but mainly cause I like the oil pressure that I get in the summer with dino and I like the starting benefits of the synthetic in the winter.
I am not running extended drain intervals, approximately 4-5k miles, so that "benefit" is not part of my plan. I also have an engine oil temp gauge in my pulling truck and will drop the oil if I ever see extended high oil temps.
I don't think the switching back and forth really makes that much difference.
IMHO- keeping GOOD oil in the engine and a using GOOD filters is much more important.

My oil psi stays up good even with synthetic but I was about 7000 miles on the oil so I decided to change it I had some regular 1540 so I put it in
