Transfer Case Switch issues

When I bought this truck the 4wd did not work. I found the transfer case switch melted so I spiced the wires together and used a toggle switch to engage the front differential actuator. I just replaced the transfer case switch today with a new Dorman switch from advance auto. I still don't get voltage through the switch. Got 12 volts to pin A but don't get any voltage out pin B when 4wd in engaged. May possibly be a bad switch out of the box but has anyone else had any internal transfer case issues that may cause this?

Transfer case motor might be bad you can pull it off the case hook back up both plugs to it and push the 4ws button with the key on and you should hear the motor ruining

It's got the lever. No motor on this one
