Howdy
We are replacing the water pump on my sons 1993 6.5. The backing plate is pitted, not leaking but still not the best.
I am pretty sure I have a 6.2 plate laying around.
Before I spend an hour digging it out, remove the old pump and clean it up...
Can anyone tell me if the 6.2 water pump plate will work on a 6.5?
Also has anyone tried a cold galvanizing for this part?
