So I'm looking to replace my Engine Bay/Hood Insulation. Mine is soaked in oil from years of abuse. I'm about to pull the engine to replace with my new Optima build. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance yall

With the engine out, it's simple. Clean up the engine compartment (paint, if necessary), and install firewall insulation (aluminized glass mastic, IIRC) available form Jegs, Summit, etc. Fitted panels are available, but much more expensive and less effective (my opinion). You can do the same with the hood (which tend to be less abused), or source a fitted panel, new or from a recycler.

Maybe try LMC Truck. Not sure if they carry the insulation or not.

Howdy
LMC truck has the hood insulation/liner kit. I have used them and they work great and it is a very complete kit. IMHO do it with the hood off and on some saw horses.
