This is not my rig, just saw it on Craigslist today. Looks like a really sweet rig. I just thought I would share to this DP community:

That does look nice - a plus that it is a 3/4-ton model. Looks to be about 16 hours away from me, though.

Make a vacation out of it! Come down and check it out, and we can have a mini DP meet and greet! :D

It's in the same town as me if you want me to go check it out.

Many years ago I sold an 86 Suburban 6.2L 2WD to a gentleman just outside of New York City. He took a bus to Missouri, I picked him up, he bought the Suburban, and then drove it home. Apparently, rust-free diesel Suburbans were in short supply up there....

I’ve been toying with the idea of finding a K2500 pickup with a manual and swapping the Yukon body onto it.

Probably easier to swap the drivetrain over, though, since the shortest GMT400 pickup is still 6" longer wheelbase than the Tahoe/Yukon? Either way, it'll be easier to have a complete donor vehicle to get all the bits and pieces you need. Cool project! The most reliable vehicle ever would be a mechanically-injected 6.5L with a manual tranny.

I still like my automatic, though! :D
